2018 Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 Review – I was lucky enough to be invited by encouraging new 2018 Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 on the introduction of the media in Barstow, Canada. After spending two days behind the wheel and as a passenger, I can honestly say that Arctic Cat has increased market UTV Sport. If you have off-road in Barstow, you know that it is unforgiving. If you have not been there, then imagine the whoops uneven created by each type of off-road vehicles imaginable. In most UTVs, the only way to traverse the area will be slow. But not for the new Wildcat. As a passenger, I look at the terrain ahead and think “Uh Oh”. But then we blasted right through it. Really impressive. And what we all experience based on which a valved shocks for all types of terrain throughout the United States. If you want something that is tuned for big whoops and g-outs, I can only imagine the nirvana that can be obtained by Wildcat!

Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 Features 5-link rear suspension work real well, but I think the future is what really shines. If you’ve never been to Barstow (Stoddard Valley OHV Area), it is full of whoops of all sizes. Some race program penetrated the area so this place will be use of any type of off-road vehicles – motorcycles for the trophy truck. I was amazed at how well the Wildcat can float through the rough stuff. With two people in the car, we had to adjust Walker Evans Racing 2 “shock setting more firmly so as not bottoming out in the back. But after that we could bomb through terrain UTVs otherwise would not be able to handle the half-speed. Shocks Wildcat has setup for a sweet spot that meet all sorts of customers and field. If you want to haul ass in the desert, Walker Evans Racing can revalve specifically to submit it even better. I can see the Walker Evans Racing offers a “shock behind the Wildcat as an option 2.5. I also wanted to see how the set ofFox Racing Shox shocks Position Sensitive appear on the back.

In addition to a five-link rear suspension, and a set of wheel travel, the other thing that really helped Wildcat appear on the rough stuff wheelbase. Wildcat 95-inch wheelbase is 13.5 inches longer than the Polaris RZR XP.

2018 Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 – Engine

The good news 2018 Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 is a 951cc V-Twin is not new. engine has proven itself on the Prowler XTZ 1000 and Arctic Cat just create a new throttle body bigger and exhaust. I am sure the programming has changed as well. With all that said, Wildcat fast, but I felt RZR XP has more bottom end grunt. To be fair, the Wildcats do not weigh more than a hundred pounds and that would affect the seat of the pants feel. That being said, if you want to go fast through a big whoops, Wildcat will navigate the terrain ugly fast. I think that after the performance aftermarket companies like Muzzys get their hands on a Wildcat, the performance will take off with a little intake and exhaust work.

There are great places to the right arm on the door were comfortable and worked well, but I feel like I want to hold anything with my left had too. I think the Arctic Cat need to see anything close to this shifter. This car can through some nasty terrain, and as a passenger, I feel like I need to keep my hand to help me feel more secure.

Rocker area under the door has a full tube chassis that is part of running the entire length. This is great for rock crawling time should be able to take a hit from the solid rock. Plastic does not stick out past this point and could be a problem in a tight spot where the vehicle is rotating around a rock. I love how the main skid plate under the folding front skid. I wonder why not tuck under the back of the main well. Skid plates fastened using a bolt with a large, flat head, but they are not counter-sunk so I was worried about the damage on the rocks. A full aftermarketUHMW skid plate would be a good improvement for the Wildcat.
